Athlete Student Spotlight: Kevin Hejnas

Kevin Hejnas is the president of the Powerlifting Club at Rutgers. A natural-born athlete, Kevin took up powerlifting during college where he fell in love with the sport. His passion for nutrition makes him more successful, as he has learned to balance his diet with the sport.

Aswan Carbonell, a senior majoring in political science and minoring in entrepreneurship and music is the host and creator of Woke Radio. The show went on air this semester, and airs every Thursday from 10pm-12am on one of Rutgers own channels, WRSU.

Nadine Azari is on the Board of Directors for Rutgers’ largest student-run event, Dance Marathon. She is also in her third year as a Resident Assistant on College Avenue, where students go to her for support. Nadine plans to do research abroad when she graduates in May.

Radha Patel is a third year supply chain student who has not only interned for companies including Diaspark and Verizon, but also remains actively involved on campus as an RA, a RBS tour guide, and as the Director of Internal Affairs for her professional fraternity, Phi Chi Theta.
