Tatianna came to Rutgers with a completely different mindset on what she wanted to do in life. After being asked what she really enjoyed doing, she focused on her passion. Ever since, she’s had various internships and been inducted in one of the most esteemed honor societies at Rutgers.
Ajay Kashi, a senior studying chemical engineering and physics, has conducted research on renewable energy in world-renowned schools like the University of Southern California and Columbia University. Originally from California, Ajay has always had a specific interest in climate change and has gone a step further by trying to tackle this problem through his involvement both at Rutgers and on an international level.
Victor Gatica had always maintained the belief that he was not good enough to succeed, and was shocked when he was accepted into Rutgers. He jokes that his acceptance was an accident as he tells me about his journey here. Although his acceptance was clearly real, it was conditional.
