The Fall 2015 semester was a big one for the Rutgers Photography club. With more than twice the amount of photo-minded folks coming to meetings than there were the last time around, there were tons of opportunities for everyone to expand their art. Whether they called it a job, a passion, or just a hobby, everyone involved was able to learn new techniques, get some critique, make connections, and even have their work featured in a gallery show in the Douglass Student Center. Thanks to some of the more diligent members, there were chances to fiddle with the super expensive gear that some members have always wanted to experiment with, but couldn’t save up for. Consequently, something more important than the opportunity to play around with expensive lenses happened; the friendships created and lessons learned this semester were unforgettable. If the next semester is anything like this one was, that record is sure to be broken.
