Rohan Chitnis is a senior in the Rutgers Business School double majoring in Supply Chain Management and Economics. Rohan has always had a passion for markets and the world of finance, but he wanted to ensure that he was more competitive than the average finance major. He sought out supply chain management to understand how to make processes more efficient and lean, while using economics to bolster his knowledge of the financial topics he was always so curious about.
No one ever says to their mom at 5 years old, ‘I want to be a supply chain professional when I grow up and optimize processes for companies!’ Instead, it all fits into a larger plan that I have for my career.”
In the long run, Rohan hopes to use his majors to his advantage by working at Barclay’s Investment Bank. There he can develop some concrete skills with asset classes and financial products, and eventually get into financial consulting. As Rohan puts it:
My motto has always been to achieve your dreams, but there’s definitely more than one way of doing that as I’ve proven to myself over the years!”
